Code of Conduct
  • Not Allowed
  • No cleats of any kind
  • No seeds, gum, peanuts, or food of any kind
  • No spitting or nose clearing
  • No tobacco products of any kind
  • No chairs, sharp objects, or high-heeled shoes
  • No pets or animals
  • No hanging on nets
  • Expectations
  • Participants will abide by timelines of usage, which inclides training, clean up, and adjustment of machines
  • Members are responsible for the safety of those they are supervising
  • Respect the space and other participants
  • Place garbage in receptacles
  • Pick up after yourself
Safety Guidelines
  • Anyone entering the batting cages.must wear a CSA­approved helmet. Anyone throwing batting practice and/or pitching to batters must situate themselves behind a protective L-screen. Only once behind such screen shall that person be allowed to remove their helmet. Anyone participating in batting cage activity releases Pipeline Athletics from any and all liability that results from participants actions, use of the equipment, and/ or the actions of any other guest participants in the batting cage.
  • A maximum of two people are allowed in any batting station at any time. These two people are: (a) a batter wearing a CSA-approved helmet; and (b) a pitcher throwing behind a protective L-screen. A third person in a cage should wait on the outside of the cage, behind the batter
  • Balls hit during soft toss and tee drills must be hit into the designated surfaces and direction.
  • Batting practice/swinging of bats must only take place in the facility.
  • Up to three athletes are allowed when participating in ground balls or throwing activities. Up to six if the divider is retracted.
  • Reserving member is responsible for operating the machine(s). Anyone touching any machine(s) without the specific prior consent of Pipeline Athletics shall be liable for all damage resulting from their actions.
  • All batters must stand outside of the net when the operator of the pitching machine is making adjustments to the pitching machine for batting practice. i.e. speed, location, height, type of pitch, etc.
Before You Leave
  • Pick up balls and return all equipment to its original place
  • Turn off pitching machine
  • Collect all personal items
  • Turn off lights
  • Ensure door is securely shut behind you
There will be a $20 service fee for any violations of the above

Pitching Machine Rules
  • Operator will be the registered member on the reservation. Anyone touching any machine(s) without the specific prior consent of Pipeline Athletics shall be liable for all damage resulting from their actions and does so at their own risk and releases Pipeline Athletics from all liability.
  • Operator of the pitching machine shall familiarize themselves with the safety and usage manual attached to the pitching machine prior to usage.
  • Participants must operate the pitching machine behind the L-screen and ensure clearance for balls to be pitched.
  • At the end of usage, turn all dials to O and turn off the pitching machine using the on/off switch.
  • Return all balls to bucket and place the bucket behind the pitching machine.

Individual Appointment Cancellation Policy:

(Includes but not limited to- lessons, Live Baseball Batting Practice, Consultations and Certifications)

Must cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled appointment time or you will be charged for scheduled appointment.

 

Team/ Group Appointment Cancellation Policy:

(Includes but not limited to- Facility Rentals & Team Training)

Must cancel at least 48 hours before scheduled appointment time or you will be charged for scheduled appointment.
